A nice medium-length hole to finish the front nine, bunkers border the driving area but a solid 3 wood or straight drive gives you a chance to birdie or par this outgoing ninth. A hill left of the green helps pulled approach shots find the green.

My drive left me 112 to the green and my pitching wedge ended up about 30 feet from the hole. I 2-putted for par and opened with a 33 on the front nine. Under, and a great start to a good round.

Best Tip: Keep the drive in play. A short iron approach is best played a little left as the slope of hill will kick it back to the hole.
