yards Par 5 Another
strong par 5 with two large pot bunkers about 120 yards from the green to
make you think about how to keep out of them on your lay up. You can see the green
from the tee. Two large trees frame the fairway right and left. You drive out
of the wooded tee area and favor the left side as weak sliced drives can go out
of bounds right. The green is uphill and blind from the lower fairway and requires
a club or two more to get to the back pin placements. A
good drive up the middle and 7 wood lay up went right of the two pot bunkers to
120. Hit a 9 iron to the right of the pin and chipped up for a tap-in par. One
under and my best start in years. Best
Tip: Lay up short of the pot bunkers for a 150 yd. approach. Stay out of these
bunkers or you will have no chance to get to the green in regulation. Take an
extra club to reach the uphill green. To
