yards Par 3 Another
really good long iron par 3 with one of the smallest greens at the Dunes that
slopes away into a hidden pot bunker over the green. A large tree guards the right
side and two small pot bunkers in front make a well-played approach a must to
hit this one. Forgot to tell you about the trade winds that blow out of the right
and into you. From the back tee a long iron or 5 wood. Play to the right center
and let the slope and wind help bring it back to the middle. Hit
my 200 club (7 wood) but the wind knocked it down into the front pot bunker. Blasted
out to 2 feet and made an excellent par on a hard hole. One of my favorite par
3s. Best
Tip: Time to hit a solid golf shot and a little long and left leaves
an easy chip and possible par If trades are blowing play a little right and use
the wind. To Next
