Director's
Choice
The
Marriott Luau is billed as "Wailea's Finest Luau."
And yes, it is. If this is your first visit to Hawaii,
you just have to go to a luau. The luau instills in you the aura of these
Islands. As you watch the dancers you travel back in time and the Hawaii
of old emerges in all it's simple glory.
The Marriott's
food is great and the show wonderful. Not only that, but it costs a few
dollars less than most others. Tips are included in the price also. I
recommend the Marriott
Luau to everyone staying on the South side.

cocktails, colorful Polynesian revue, and exciting finale by three-time
world-champion fire-knife dancer Ifi So'o.
ITINERARY
5:00 PM Hawaiian music provides a tropical ambiance as you enjoy
a breathtaking Maui sunset. After receiving your complimentary shell
lei greeting you are offered the opportunity to have an exquisite oceanfront
portrait taken that will be available to purchase following the luau.
Open bar features exotic tropical beverages, beer, wines or favorite
cocktails.
5:30 PM As the "Paradyse" trio takes the stage, out lovely Hula
Dancer entertains you while the staff prepares for the traditional Imu
Ceremony.
6:00
PM Lighting the torches and the sound of the conch shell invite
you to experience a traditional Imu Ceremony with the unveiling of the
Hawaiian Kalua Pig. Full buffet style dinner is served offering a variety
of Hawaiian favorites including Sautéed Island Fish, Lau Lau, Imu Baked
Kalau Pig, Poi and Taro Rolls. The dessert buffet offers Haupia, Macadamia
Nut Cake, Tropical Fruit

7:00
PM An inspiring display of "kahiko" or ancient hula begins the revue
by "Paradyse" and Ka Poe O Hawaii. The next 50 minutes will take you
on a journey through the Pacific with exotic costumes and talented dancers.
Members of the audience are then called forward to show off their hula
talents (always a great photo opportunity) as our dancers lead you in
a traditional dance. The evening comes to an end with a "hot" performance
by three-time World Champion Fire Knife Dancer, Ifi So'o.
