Director's
Choice
Ron
Bass is a friend of the family. Sean,
son of Clif and Martha Council, owners of the Maui Golf Shop, has been
blind since birth. Ron takes Sean out kayaking once a week for an exciting
ride on the sea. And Sean loves it. You will too, no matter what your
age or physical condition.
Ron, in fact, specializes
in people with physical challenges. He's a certified Disabled Ski Instructor
and Licensed Practical Nurse. But everyone can enjoy Ron's kayak adventures.
He takes out only 4 paddlers on a trip, so you're assured of a "custom"
ride planned just for you.
To book, contact
Ron direct: kayaking@maui.net or
phone him at 808 572-6299
| TIP:
Don't risk your personal camera. Buy a disposable underwater camera
for this wet and wild adventure. You'll be surprised at the pictures
they can take. |

Maui
Sea Kayaking is the oldest
kayak tour company on
Maui (established by kayakers in 1988). This is the way to see Maui's
wonderful ocean life... up close and personal as you paddle silently through
the waves. People who have taken our tours thank us because we take a
maximum of only four people at a time. You receive our personal attention
throughout your tour. It's safer, you see more and have more fun! And,
we are equipped to and love taking out physically challenged paddlers!

1/2-Day
Trips
(MAKENA LANDING)
Just south of the Wailea Resort area is Makena
Landing and across the bay, Puu Olai, popular with kayakers, snorkelers
and scuba divers. Because of its protected location this area is perfect
for all levels of kayakers and your tour (no more than four people) will
be customized to your interests and paddling skills.
Ron
always begins with a thorough kayak lesson to familiarize you with your
boat and how to handle it. There are caves to explore and an exotic array
of protected sea life to experience first hand. The whales (which are
in season in Maui waters from November through May) are most exhilarating
to see from a kayak. There are also sea turtles and dolphins seen most
every trip. Just seeing them from the deck of a boat is great, but there's
nothing like being right next to them on their own level.
Rock Gardens,
for kayak play, line this beautiful bay providing extra fun for all paddlers,
from beginners to the "extreme adrenaline junkies"!
Snacks are provided.
Be sure to bring a hat, sunglasses [with tie-string], sunscreen, drinking
water, a disposable underwater camera and of course, snorkel gear.

For those who want
