It's That Time Of Year Again, Spring Aeration
The golf courses start aerating their greens so that golfers have nice smooth putting surfaces. Some courses here on Maui do things a little differently than you might expect. For instance, The Dunes at Maui Lani will punch all 18 greens but will only punch 1/2 of each surface. Also, some courses will not allow play during aeration while some will. Just keep in mind that aeration is a MUST and not every course will do it at the same time. But, these courses are nice even with sandy greens, keep in mind that most courses will recover to normal putting conditions in 7-10 days.

Most Courses close on these dates, we recommend you don't book on these dates up to 7 days after, for better playing conditions. Wait 10 days for good greens again
